In May we went to visit Papa (Nick's dad) who lives in Abilene, Tx. The boys LOVE Papa and really enjoy going to visit him. Papa was in the Airforce and was transfered to Abilene years ago to work at Dyess Airforce base. So we got to take a tour of the base and were able to see all of the awesome airplanes that have been used through the years. We also visited the Abilene Zoo where we fed the Giraffes. We had a good time and hopefully get to see him again soon!

This is the airplane that Kaiden picked out and said was his. I must say it was pretty cool!
Telling Kaiden to walk away from Zachary's "airpane" For some reason he claimed this airplane as his own and wanted nobody near it, especially Kaiden.
Zachary camping out under his "airpane" and refused to get up. He kept saying, "my airpane, no no Daiden (Kaiden)."
This is for you Nana!!!! :) Don't you just LOVE snakes!! Zachary was mesmerized by the snakes.
Checking out the messy Rhinos. The Ostrich was across from us, pretty cool cause we saw a real Ostrich egg that the zoo keeper picked up out of its exhibit.
Kaiden finally getting a chance to feed the Giraffes. There were some schools there so poor Kaiden had to wait awhile before it was his turn. He waited so patiently with his hand through the fence holding the cracker. Zachary just dropped the cracker. I think he was a little freaked out by the long tongue and did not want it to touch him.
