Abilene visit / Happy Birthday Sheena!

The last weekend in August we traveled to Abilene...yes we did a lot of traveling in August. We got to celebrate Sheena's birthday with her and spend some time with family.

We kept making fun of Poppa because he was putting with one hand, in the other hand he had his water bottle and towel. he always carries these 2 things around with him, it is like Linus and his blanket from Charlie Brown. :) Well he ended up getting a HOLE IN ONE!!! We were all shocked!

Prime Time in Abilene was a fun place! Plus we got a military discount...thanks Poppa!! :)

Visiting Mama Dot

In August we also traveled to Fort Worth to visit Bekah's grandmother, Mama Dot. My cousins were coming into town too so we got to see a lot of our family. Mama Dot was so excited to meet Lincoln for the first time and of course to see all of her grandkids and great grandkids.

Lincoln's girlfriend

One of my best friends from college had her first baby about 2 months after Lincoln was born. Elizabeth and Cody Palmer had a precious little baby girl named Mary "Carlyle." They live in between Ft. Worth and Weatherford and we took a trip to go see them in August. Lincoln and Carlyle may be 2 months apart but they were about the same size. Elizabeth has an old baby scale that was past down to her from her grandmother and both babies weighed about 12lbs. :) Carlyle was born at 8lbs. and Lincoln was 6lbs. 5oz.

Mississippi Trip / Happy Birthday Grandma B

In August we traveled to Mississippi to visit Nick's grandmother and family. We have made it a tradition to go see his grandmother every year on her birthday. Grandma B looks great for being 91!

On the way there we found a high school called Camden. Kaiden thought it was so cool because it was like a mixture of Kaiden and Cameron (his cousin). So of course we had to stop and take a picture. :)
