Go TECH!
Last weekend when Texas Tech played Baylor we got to go out for the game. So our little family, my parents, and my brother's family all traveled out to good ole Lubbock! Wow has it changed in the past few years...it looks amazing. We realized that we really miss Lubbock and that we need to go back and visit more. It was so much fun being able to take our boys and get them all dressed up in Tech gear. Kaiden and Zachary really enjoyed the game. Kaiden was asking tons of questions about the game and Zachary would get mad if I sat down and he could not see. They both took a little nap during the game, don't ask me how they slept through all of that noise. It was really cold towards the end of them game so it was a good thing that we had blankets and were able to bundle the boys up. Here are some pics of our fun visit.

Thanksgiving with Davaul Family
We traveled to Abilene for Thanksgiving with Nick's family. Nick's dad lives there and his younger sister, niece, and mom traveled from Arizona. It was so great getting to spend Thanksgiving with his family. We missed his older sister and her husband who were unable to travel from Michigan. We had a very interesting and long trip down. It is suppose to take 7 hours and it ended up taking us almost 10. It is hard traveling with two little ones, a dog, and a cat who is very car sick. We had to stop and buy a cage to put him in so he could travel safely. We pulled over several times for "potty" breaks and because Kie, our cat threw up in his cage. We also ran into traffic twice. Did I mention we almost ran out of gas??? We got about 20 miles outside of Abilene and all of the sudden our gas tank dropped from 17 miles to 5 miles to 0 miles! We both prayed inside and luckily the next exit was 2 gas stations and thank goodness one of them was opened. Then we ventured to Walmart at 1:00 in the morning to get a air matress so we could sleep.
We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week and can not wait to see his family all together again...hopefully christmas next year!

Over Thanksgiving break we finally got to meet our little niece, Scarlett Olivia Davaul. Nick younger sister had Scarlett July 18 of this year. She is absolutely adorable with a beautiful smile. You can tell the resemblance with her and our boys. She loved Kaiden, she though he was hilarious! Zachary just wanted to touch her and kiss all over her. It was great getting to meet her and seeing Nick's sister, Ariane.

Thanksgiving Feast at CDC
Today was our Thanksgiving feast at our school. In my class we dressed our students in pilgrims and Indians. It was adorable. Kaiden's class made Indian hats and we all had a big feast in our classrooms.

Campire Fun!

Last week when it was really cold we had dinner at our friends house, The Miley's. We made a campfire, roasted some marshmallows, and made smores. Kaiden did not want to eat the roasted marshmallows, but he LOVED the uncooked marshmallows right out of the bag. Enjoy the pictures from our relaxing night.

Kaiden is really good at kicking the soccer ball. He will be ready for soccer next year since he will get a soccer ball for Christmas.

He is just such a happy baby and easy to make laugh!

Kaiden is teaching Zachary how to say "more" in sign language. Zachary looks very intrigued at his brother.

Zachary has learned how to clap and is now able to do it on command. Here is a video of me saying "Yeah" and him clapping to it. He is also making all sorts of noises because I think he is finding out that his voice sounds cool when he yells.

Dewberry Farm

This past weekend we took a trip to Dewberry Farm near Katy, Tx. We went with our friends The Miley's and we all had a blast. 9 Months
Can you believe my little Zachy (this is what his friend Noah calls him) is already 9 month's? I took him for his 9 month check up this past Friday and he is weighing in at 17.5lbs and 26 3/4 inches long. He is my mover and shaker who loves to be down on the ground going somewhere whether it is crawling or walking behind anything he can push. He LOVES laughing at his big brother and finds pretty much everything he does funny. He is really not into baby toys that much but give him something that he can open and close and he will be amused for a little while. He likes playing with Kaiden's kitchen and opening the doors. He also likes opening the doors in the real kitchen, good thing they are baby proofed. He is FINALLY popping his first tooth and I think the 2nd one is not far behind. He likes to babble and make all kinds of noises. He can say "bubba," "dadda," and finally "mama." Of course I was last! He is such a happy baby except when his teeth are hurting or you are not feeding him fast enough. He is enjoying table foods such as avocados, tomatoes, noodles, bread, soft fruits, and more. I am afraid that he is not wanting baby food as much anymore and will actually shake his no at me. But the minute I give him something off of my plate he is a happy little camper. He knows how to get what he wants!

We could not be more excited that our awesome Texas Tech Red Raiders beat Texas this past weekend 39 to 33. That was such an amazing game and I wish I could have been on that field like I was back in the day. Now I am graduated, married and have kids but I can still teach my children to be true die hard Texas Tech fans. Here are some pics of Kaiden on game day! I never got a family picture of all of us dressed up ready for the game. Even mommy had her double T tattoo just like old times. Kaiden has been so excited about Tech that he still has his tattoo on, yes he wore it to church! This morning on the way to school he was singing the fight song and we were doing Raider Power. We can't wait to go see our Red Raiders beat Baylor Thanksgiving weekend! WRECK EM TECH! By the way, Tech is ranked #2!!!!

Halloween
We had so much fun this Halloween. First we went to the Fall Festival at our church where they had games, blow up bounce things, pony rides, petting zoo, train rides, and more. Cowboy Kaiden had to do it all of course and Pumpkin Zachary chilled out in the stroller. After we stayed there for a couple of hours we had just enough time to go home and trick or treat up our street. Kaiden actually went up to some of the houses and waved his hat while saying YEEHAW. It was really cute. He got tired of saying it after awhile and said "can I just say trick or treat now?" We got lots of candy that hopefully will take him forever to eat. Nick told him only 1 a day...yeah right!
Oh and by the way Nick finally got home yesterday about 2:00 after being gone for 3 weeks. YEAH!
