Bekah's Birthday and family day!
March 20 was Bekah's birthday! We decided to spend the day with the boys and enjoy some family time. We took them to a local park where we had a picnic and went on a nature walk. That night we sent the boys over to spend the night at our friends, the Reed's house so mom and dad could have some quality time together. All in all it was a great day and I could not imagine spending my birthday with any one other than the men in my life, Nick, Kaiden, and Zachary. Thank you boys for making me feel so loved on my birthday! I love you!

Did we mention that Zachary LOVES apples? Daddy takes the skin off and Zachary goes to town trying to eat off as much apple as he can with only 5 teeth. Too cute. Watch out because if you take it away he gets MAD!

Rodeo-March 14
Michele and her son Ashton invited us to go to the rodeo and the boys had a blast! Even though the parking was bad, we had to walk in the rain, it was cold, and we had to move seats because there was water in ours, it was an awesome day!


They were both intent with watching the bull riding.

Kaiden LOVED all the carnival rides. His favorite was the one where he lays on his stomach and ride like batman. He was imagining himself as batman, that was the most fun I had with him.

WHOOO HOOOO Kaiden's first attempt at driving bumper cars. This was hilarious because Ashton and Kaiden were the only ones on the ride and they thought he was hilarious to bump into each other.

Zack's high fever
Zachary has been running fever since Sunday afternoon in the mid range of 101/102. Monday it went to 103.5 and we took him to the dr. Well his fever spiked to 104.4 yesterday at the dr. office. I dont think my thermometer even goes that high. We went for blood work yesterday, which was a pain since it was after hours and I had to go through the ER. They had no idea what to do, they wanted to admit him to see a dr. I told them no I already saw my dr and I have orders to get his blood work done now! So I got on the phone with the dr on call at the pediatrician's office(Dr. Farrier) and he was frustrated with them and told me that they have to do his blood work as an outpatient and not through the inpatient of the ER. The people there were still a little confused,but finally got it together. Dr. Farrier said that they send people there all the time for this on the weekends.
So finally I got home at 7:30 when his appoinment was at 4:20. Poor Zack also had to do a urine sample using a catheter...so sad to watch. My dr called last night and said that so far it looks viral. She said that his white blood cells were 17500 and that anything over 20000 could mean pneumonia. So now she is waiting on the blood culture and urine test. (4 days) She is trying to rule everything out, but said it could turn into Rosieola (sp)(fever 3 days followed by rash) or just a virus with fever only. He finally broke his fever last night, but it is back up again this morning with 102. This is so frustrating...my poor baby, you can tell he feels sick. Here is a picture of him yesterday chillin on the couch for 20 minutes. This is so unlike him. In a normal situation he would not have lasted 1 minute. Even brother was trying to make him feel better by giving him some snuggles.

Zachary's Birthday Party
Ok I know these are like a month late but I thought I lost the pictures. I found them the other day so I figured I should go ahead and post them. His birthday party was great and he really enjoyed himself except for the 1 tantrum from opening the presents. Plus he really wanted nothing to do with his cake. He used it as a dipping tool for his wagon wheel snack. We enjoyed having all of his little friends and our family there. I can not believe that he is already 13 months now!

Rodeo-Brad Paisley
So my totally awesome wonderful best friend Michele decided to get us tickets to celebrate my birthday coming up to see Brad Paisley at the rodeo. We had so much fun and our seats were AWESOME! We had front row seats right in the middle of the arena and I could literally reach my hand out and touch the dirt. When the chuck wagon races were going on we had to cover our food from the dirt flying. They don't call them action seats for nothing. These seats also came with all you could eat buffet style of free food and drinks. I had my fair share of frito pie, baked potato salad, chicken fingers, hot dog, candy, and ice cream. :) Plus it was even better when the concert came on because we got to see Brad Paisley up close and personal. I was 4 inches away from reaching out and touching him. He was handing out guitar picks and Michele got one. I would have gotten one if the idiot boy teenager behind me did not grab it first. The only downfall was that we were stuck in traffic for 2 hours and had to walk from very far away in the freezing rain. We were bundled up next to each other huddled under an umbrella all the way to the car until a bicycle taxi took us the rest of the way. It was totally worth the $20 he charged us...I think he ripped us off. :) Thanks again Michele for a great time!

Here are some cute pictures that a friend of mine took for me. We printed them off and gave them to daddy for Valentine's day. My favorite picture is me and the boys in the rocking chair. I can not believe how curly and crazy Kaiden hair was. :) He looks so cute!

Let's go Fly a Kite!
We started Kaiden on a responsibility/chore chart this past week and he has been doing awesome with it. At the end of the week if he gets all of his stickers then Kaiden gets to do something really fun at the end of the week. Kaiden decided that he wanted to go fly a kite. Tuesday afternoon was a perfect day to go take his new spiderman kite out to the park. Daddy taught him how to hold it and how to keep it up. He did a great job and had tons of fun flying his cool spiderman kite.
