Saturday Kaiden had his Texas Tech birthday party and it was a HUGE hit. We decorated the house Texas Tech style and told everyone to wear red, black, or Texas Tech gear. We made Masked Rider masks for all the kids and played a Masked Rider relay game. Since we could not find a Texas Tech pinata we let Kaiden pick out whatever pinata he wanted and he chose Batman. We played games, sang Happy Birthday AND the Texas Tech Fight Song, ate cake, hit the pinata, and opened presents. Nick and I even preformed the Texas Tech Fight song just like we did back in college when I was on Pom Squad and Nick was a Cheerleader. I even did my high kick. Scroll down to the end for a video. :) The best part was seeing Kaiden's face when he got his birthday present from us and grandparents...a FORD F-150 Power Wheels Truck.
Balloon game that Zachary was obsessed with. He wanted all the balloons. It was hilarious because he would lay on them and just roll right off or bounce right off. Too cute!
Blowing out his candle. After the Happy Birthday song we sang the Fight Song. (well those of us that knew it which is all of my family except my brother Erik who went to A&M)
We had to tie the pinata a second time after Kaiden's friend Micah used a tomahawk move and knocked it right off the string. He was only the 2nd kid to go.
What was left from the pinata. It made a cute little mask for Brady.
Masked rider relay game. They had to wear their mask, a red cape and ride a horse down and back and then trade their horse to the next person in line. It was very comical to watch. One of Kaiden's friends (Gage) ran straight for the pinata instead and proceeded to hit it with his stick horse...hilarious!
